This Privacy Policy describes how Chi Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information through the Be OWT Reclamation portal. We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to support the reclamation and retention of our Brothers.
Information we collect
When you submit a reclamation form, we may collect:
- Your name and, if provided, your fraternity control number;
- Contact information you choose to share (email address, phone number, city, state);
- Your indicated interest level and any notes you add;
- Referral information (the code or name of the Brother who referred you);
- Consent records (the consent text you agreed to, the date/time, IP address, and browser) for compliance purposes.
How we use your information
- To contact you about reconnecting with the chapter and completing your reclamation;
- To verify membership details with the Fraternity’s International Headquarters;
- To notify our internal Reclamation & Retention committee of your submission so a Brother can follow up;
- If you opt in, to send you SMS updates about your reclamation (see our Terms & Conditions).
How we protect and share it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is used only by authorized chapter officers and committee members for reclamation and retention, and is shared with service providers (such as our SMS provider) solely to deliver the messages you’ve asked for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your choices
You may request that we update or delete your information, and you can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. To make a request or ask a question, contact us at reclamation@orlandoques.org.
